Laid-back Jamaica
The perfect setting for a family holiday, a honeymoon or even a conference is place with warm, welcoming sunshine. Add friendly people, lots of tourist attractions, the ocean and many other inland activities, you’ve got a recipe that makes Jamaica. In the next ten minutes (Nixon watches need to be checked) you will feel an almost irresistible urge to pack up your bags and immediately fly to this Caribbean haven.
During the almost 14 hour flight, you will keep looking at the time on one of your favourite Nixon watches in your hurry to get to this island paradise. Once there, you hurriedly grab a taxi to get to your hotel and before anyone can blink their eyes you’re outside again – ready for the adventure to begin.
First stop is the beach. This particular beach is known as the Seven Mile Beach and offers you 7 miles of golden beaches and beautiful, calm Caribbean waters. If you need anything like a chair and an umbrella, vendors are at hand to rent you what you need. After such a long flight, all you want (and need) to do is put your feet in these blue waters to feel your energy restored.

Dunn’s River Falls is a must-climb, even if there are scores of other tourists. The falls rush over step-type stones and while you’re climbing be wary of the slippery stones. You may want to take hold of somebody’s hand in order to maintain your balance. At the summit you can enjoy a welcome rest, after buying a few necessities from the ever-present vendors.

Another adrenalin rush is swimming with the Dolphins at Dolphin Cove. Here you can lie face down and the Dolphins will put their snouts to your feet and push you through the water. If you’re looking for a wild ride, grab a Dolphin’s dorsal fin on either side of you and hang on. For something more calm, there is the shallow water experience and, of course, the petting pool.

Early one morning a van comes and picks you up and you know that today you’re going to have an unsurpassed adventure. Blue Mountain Bicycle Tours offer adventure seekers the chance to appreciate the spectacular views from the top of Blue Mountain. From there you make a wild dash through the rainforest to see the blossoms and other flora on the mountainside. This is all done from the seat of a mountain bike and with the healthy Jamaican air rushing into your lungs. You finish this experience by cooling down under a waterfall.
These are just some of the items on your itinerary, but that favourite of all your Nixon watches tells you that the time to leave has arrived. Slowly you take your bags and bid this wonderful place a reluctant farewell, making a solemn promise that you will return very soon.
